To capture one you need charged lures: killing vomvalysts need a lure or grabing their core (by walking on it and coming close to the lure) will do the trick. If you are absolutely stuck, you may add me on Steam and we can figure something out to help you, though I cannot promise anything because I will need to ask my friends to sacrifice their time to help you. It would seem this is a no go for you, I would highly encourage you to try to find people who are willing to carry you through Eidolon hunts just until you got yourself enough cores to get Rank 5 in the Quills and get yourself a new amp. If you mean the Mote Amp, yes it's universally terrible. I like to use voice chat in groups and it seems that's not popular here. It's jut the two of us and he can't pay that often. My friend and I started playing a while back and built a Dojo. Oh, and I really know it's more difficult to solo but I have had bad experiences in other games in PUG's so I haven't even tried in Warframe. To get the shards I need to kill or capture eidolons. But to get a better amp or gild the one I have I need eidolon shards to get to Adherent. Simply not possible for me to solo with that amp I have. Originally posted by Darkkhelmet:Thanks, the missing piece for me was that all the limbs need to be popped (as you put it). if you capture an eidolon you will get Sentient Cores, Eidolon Shards and Riven transmuters and a lot more rewards than you would get if you killed it. Im kinda new to this sort of thing too (I really want revenant), should I try to kill or capture? It is by far more beneficial to capture an eidolon as it yields more rewards. To kill an eidolon do none of that and just simply kill him without any charged lures present. Im kinda new to this sort of thing too (I really want revenant), should I try to kill or capture? Also it doesn't help that you don't know what to do. Originally posted by Mano:It might surprise you, but it's arguably more difficult to solo eidos than if let's say you were in a squad. Rinse and repeat until all limbs are popped and the eidolon has fallen down. 2 charged lures for Terralyst, 3 charged lures for Gantulyst and 3 charged lures for Hydrolyst.Īfter taking the shield down you must pop the eidolon's limbs, with the exception of the Terralyst, they will have 6 limbs (Terralyst has 4 only) Arm/armpit and kneecaps. The eidolons need specific number of charged lures to be captured. Bring the lures to the eidolon and kill the eidolon while having charged lures near it. To charge a lure you need to kills vomvalysts, a lure will need 3 vomvalyst to get it charged, once charged you will see the lure's icon turn blue. Also it doesn't help that you don't know what to do.īut to answer your question, to capture an eidolon you need to get lures, which spawn around the map. It might surprise you, but it's arguably more difficult to solo eidos than if let's say you were in a squad.
